As your third grader seeks answers to “Who, what, when, where, why, and how,” his master video teacher will help him navigate through this year of expanding horizons. A Beka will provide your third grader a strong foundation in arithmetic, health, science, history, and life skills from a Christian perspective. Included with the program are daily lessons from God’s Word. Your child will be excited to learn and apply many stories from the Old and New Testaments. He will be building a foundation for lifelong learning and success.
Abeka Academy gives you the best of both worlds of homeschooling and a traditional Christian school classroom. As your child becomes acquainted with his video classmates, he will feel as if he is a part of the class. The teacher will even pause to give “students watching” a turn to participate in games, contests, and drills! While enjoying the fun and expanded learning of the classroom experience, your child will have the benefit of your one-on-one guidance at home as you listen to him read and recite, administer tests and quizzes, or check his daily work. With Abeka Academy’s virtual program, you can easily homeschool more than one child at a time, even when your family is away from home.
The Arithmetic, History, Science, and Bible subject combination is available through our prerecorded online video streaming, which gives you the flexibility to set your own daily schedule. The video lease provides you with a full 12 months to complete the 170 lessons, which take approximately two hours a day of viewing time each. You also have the option to purchase either the tuition and book kit or tuition only (for those who may already have some of the materials and wish to purchase individual items separately). Both options include the assessment materials, a video manual to help you stay on track with the video teacher, and record-keeping progress reports to document your child’s progress through the school year. For all those using our Abeka Academy program, academic assistance is only a phone call or an e-mail away. Online streaming only. Not available on DVD.
