Themes in Literature Quiz and Test Key

This helpful parent’s companion to Themes in Literature Quizzes/Tests with Speed/Comprehension Selections and Quizzes (sold separately) provides a copy of your teen’s quiz and test book with answers and point values supplied. Answers for test essay questions give the basic facts to be included. The Speed and Comprehension Chart will enable you to evaluate your teen’s reading speed and comprehension progress and adjust accordingly as explained in the Homeschool English 9 Parent Guide/Student Daily Lessons. Since the literature tests for Themes in Literature are designed to be given in conjunction with the grammar tests for Grammar and Composition III, the point values for both together equal one test grade. The number of questions and suggested point values on the literature vs. the corresponding grammar test reflect the emphasis of the Homeschool English 9 Parent Guide/Student Daily Lessons so that literature is given greater weight beginning in tenth grade after your teen builds a solid foundation in grammar.
