Writing grammar tests and quizzes on a level appropriate for an eighth grader can be challenging, especially when you have the added goal of including some sentence content that reaches the child’s heart and mind. Abeka tests are classroom- tested to be sure that these quizzes and tests over grammar, library use, and composition more than meet your needs. Test content includes grammatical analysis of sentences, proper usage of various parts of speech, diagramming, composition fact, grammatical terms, and application of rules for capitalization, punctuation, and manuscript form. Since grammar is a skills class, the 12 tests (including 4 exams) are cumulative so that no skill is forgotten. Each grammar test is designed to be combined with its corresponding Of Places Literature test for one test grade.
