Of People Quiz and Test Book

Just as the study of literature expands our horizons, quality testing over literature expands the life lessons we can learn! Abeka delivers this quality with tests that will take your child’s thinking and test-taking skills to the next level. In addition to questions over key details and authors to help your child remember the story or poem, the tests focus on significant lines and introduce your child to essay questions that encourage him to apply a character’s experiences to the truths of Scripture. Your child’s listening skills will grow as he learns to include all the parts of an essay question in his answer. Each literature test is designed to be combined with its corresponding Grammar and Composition I test for one test grade. The 8 unit tests, 2 nine-weeks exams, and semester and final exams are correlated with the text Of People Literature, 4th ed., and the Homeschool English 7 Curriculum/Lesson Plans, which also provides oral quizzes over various literature selections. The quizzes in the quiz and test book are 15 speed/comprehension quizzes (9 over a selection from Of People; 6 over a selection provided in the test book). A bonus feature is a progress chart to encourage your child to build his reading speed and comprehension.
