Since standardized tests aren’t like typical tests, there’s no pass or fail. Results show proof of progress! Look for areas of strength, possible weaknesses, and how your child compares to other students who’ve taken the test.
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer testing accommodations for students with special needs. Alternatively, local schools may offer a paper testing option.
Online Test results will be available digitally within 10 business days. School test results will be available within 4 to 6 weeks.
No, they’re not; you need to send your results to Abeka Academy as part of state requirements.
The test administrator must have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree. They must also fall under one of the following categories:
The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) lists federal and state requirements related to homeschooling and testing. Visit the HSLDA website for more information specific to your state.
Testing your student in the fall will test them over the previous grades' material that they have learned with a beginning knowledge of their current grade. Testing your student in the spring will test them over the current grade material they have learned with a beginning understanding of their upcoming grade. Example: Stanford's Primary 3 test is the 4th grade test in the fall (because your student will have just completed 3rd grade and is now in 4th grade), but the 3rd grade test in the spring (because your student will be finishing 3rd grade and will enter 4th grade). Example: Iowa's Level 7 test is the 2nd grade test in the fall (because your student will have just completed 1st grade and is now in 2nd grade), but the 1st grade test is in the spring (because your student will be finishing 1st grade and will enter 2nd grade).
Due to the nature of the test, online tests are nonrefundable.
